The Lord is my Shepherd:
This could mean one is under the mantel of God’s presence. The entirety of the Divine is watching over one’s existence. This is a gigantic truth. If one relaxes into this miracle, there are definite indicators of this truth. One is guided, protected, nurtured, and loved in a vast wholeness.
I shall not want:
There are no needs. The Divine hand gives everything necessary for a complete existence. One does not want for food, shelter, safety, and nearness…..we are created by a Creator who loves us. His guidance is the direction of ease this leads us to prosper. His Gift causes fullness.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
All is given in plenty. This is so comforting and idyllic. The perfect environment for rest and food. This is the meeting place in many ways; the Lord gives us rest.
He leadeth me beside the Still Waters:
We are brought into Stillness and healed by His presence. He leads us there by the Holy Spirit. Internally, we are taken when the “waters are still”; a place of deep abiding Holiness.
He re-storeth my soul:
The Lord sanctifies our being. The Tide washes away the sins. This event feels so beautiful as one is purified. He creates the neutral so we can recognize Him.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou are with me:
The shadow world is our ego. We must travel here to become free and wise…He gives us a light to make observations in the darkness. This observer eventually senses God’s love and the eternal becomes a natural landscape. There is no fear of seeing one’s flaws. No threat is possible. All observation moves into self- knowledge, embraced by Love. The Truth sets one free to be transparent to God’s Love and to love all as Self…a miracle of Joy
He prepareth a table before me in the presence of my enemies:
First the enemy is within…always...but this does apply if one is confronted…but...how one sees an enemy can rearrange the labels. A quiet mind in the face of adversity places Love in the foreground as nurture that enables vision. He sets a ‘place’ for us to be love.
My cup runneth over:
I am fulfilled and more comes. Virtue arises like a Sun from His Radiance. The Flow is His greatness…His Cup contains an Infinite Ocean. My cup ends in the greatness.
Thy rod and Thy staff comfort me:
We are given direction. We come to know the beginning and end of events through a vigilance yoked by God’s Hand. This creates a format that is ease and understandable within the Mystery.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever:
